Yessums, i've decided to start doing commissions. Why not?


~Process~
-Send me a PM detailing what you want (more on that later).
-After any needed negotiations, i'll add you to the below list of slots.
-I do a preliminary sketch, and send that to you as a lower res watermarked jpg to see if any alterations are necessary.
-After that I ink it and colour it, and send that to you as a lower res watermarked jpg again to see if any alterations are necessary.
-If you are happy with it, you pay the negotiated price and i'll send you the final thing as a high quality unwatermarked png for your personal use (more on that later).
-A lower res watermarked jpg version of the final piece will then be uploaded onto my gallery.


~What you want~
Please try and be specific about what you want.

Style:
Is it anime styled or is it more western? Do you want me to try and emulate a specific style (references needed)? Is it in grayscale/halftone/colour? Do you want soft shading or cel shading?

Character:
If it's a real person, i'm going to need photos (and they have to be good photos, no myspace angles!).
If it's your own character, pictures would be best. If you don't have pictures, then you need to be VERY descriptive about their appearance. Personality and backstory is optional.
If you're commissioning fanart, links to official artwork or videoclips or similar would save both time and confusion.

Scenario:
Please be specific about their poses and emotions, I don't want to inadvertently draw them doing something out of character. If they're using any items or weapons, then please be specific about that as well (and if possible provide references).

Notes:
Backgrounds - These are intended to be artistic profile shots with simple backgrounds. I'm not brilliant at proper backgrounds, but if you want there to be a proper background than i'd be happy to negotiate something with you (although this will increase the price as well as the time it'll take to complete it).
Time - I'll try and get them done as soon as possible, but please keep in mind that i'm a Uni student so there's always the chance that Uni work and studying will get in the way.
Artistic Nudity - Although I don't mind nudity, it should be noted that i'm not brilliant at detailed anatomy, so request gratuitous nudity at your own risk.
Sex - I'm not doing anything above a (15) rating, so that's a no for sex.
Violence - Blood is alright, but i'm not doing anything particularly grotesque (or "guro" if you will).

~Contact and Payment~
I will be handling payments through my paypal account (the.sailor.taurus@gmail.com). If you wish to pay me by any other means (such as devart subscriptions), then i'm sure we can negotiate something. You will not receive the final full res unwatermarked png until I receive the payment in full.

As for contact, that'll all be handled through DevArt via PM (unless otherwise negotiated). I need to be able to contact you in order to do the commission. If you get banned from DevArt without leaving me an alternative means of contact or otherwise inadvertently drop off the face of the earth, i'll have no choice but to cancel the commission. If your life situation decreases the chances of you getting in contact with me, then you need to tell me this. If at any point you realise that you won't be able to pay the commission, then please tell me and i'll gladly cancel the commission.
